Self Assessment

The Self-Assessment is meant to be a living, breathing process of examination, improvement and reexamination. Reflect on these questions. If answers to any of them are yes, there is opportunity to be more effective.

1Is attention focused on attaining the performance metrics sometimes in conflict with the organization’s mission or values?

2Do the metrics provide conflicting objectives and at times create conflict between people?

3Are there key areas – for example, quality control – without clear accountability?

4Occasionally, is there no clear owner, such that people blame each other when problems occur?
