“I go out to California and I have the privilege to do this session and part of the session involved interviewing Peter onstage and I did this piece together, but the evening before, I think this is the first time that I met Frances. I went upstairs, and there's this reception, because she was kind of ambassadoring the whole thing as she does so well.
And in this room, I mean, there are all sorts of leaders from different sectors and people who run major corporations, and people who run major non-profits, and from government, and they all—this is the image I have—they all looked very big. Right, I mean they had big shoulders and big suits and—big—right? And, in the middle of all of this was Yoda, right? I have this image of Yoda, and you know how in the Star Wars, Yoda, when you first meet Yoda, is diminutive, he's small, he's sort of—but over time, Yoda becomes the largest character on the screen, right? Yoda kind of grows in the sense of, it's not Yoda, it's ‘YODA’, right?
And as I watched, and, she was so gracious when she came out to meet me and we spent some time chatting, but what I immediately noticed was that she no longer seemed small, right? So, she was the smallest person in the room, but like Yoda, she became the largest person in the room. And it was a very interesting thing for me to watch and that is the image I have in my head was that, I had met Yoda.”
