GRACIOUS by Jim Collins

“The lost art of being gracious. And, it may sounds like a small thing—I don't think it's a small thing at all. I think there is a desperate need for just simply being gracious. Being gracious in the way you accept something; being gracious in acknowledging other people, being gracious in the way you say no to something. When life gets busy, life gets hectic or you're feeling overwhelmed with things on all sides, I find myself going back to this lesson; a sense of, like no, you always have the imperative to try to be gracious. And, if everyone embraced that, we would be a whole lot better off, because, there is no reason that you have to be ungracious, that you have to be mean in spirit, that you have to be petty. No matter what the world throws at you or how unfair it is, it's still not an excuse for pettiness, meanness and a lack of grace.”
