“As a rock climber, there are certainly climbers that I greatly admire because I know they're just the real deal, right? I mean, you look at them and you know, when it's really tough or really scary or really a situation that called for something extraordinary, they had it. They are the real deal, and whatever arena they were in it's like, you know, there is somebody that everybody in that world look to and go, ‘Okay, that's the person that's emblematic...’ As you go through life, you always have your eye out for the real deal. Always have your eye open for the genuine article that, you know, can't be replicated, can't be manufactured, can't be copied... And I think for me, when I come across somebody who, in my view, had experience in whatever they do, they're the real deal. They are the genuine article.”
